Our Story

The Indian Apron started at our own kitchen table — cooking the Gujarati recipes we grew up with, in the quantities we'd make for family. Word spread around Hainault, and soon we were packing tiffins for neighbours, friends, and friends of friends who missed the taste of home.

Every rotli is rolled by hand, every shaak simmered the way our mothers and grandmothers taught us. We keep the menu rotating and the batches small, so what reaches you is always fresh, never mass-produced, and always made with the same care we'd put into our own family's dinner.
